Cooperation with the Western Balkans in Erasmus+: Youth in Action

Ā»Changing lives,
opening mindsĀ«

"Erasmus+: Youth in Action" refers to the activities within the Erasmus+ Programme exclusively related to the field of youth and non-formal learning.

The Programme is also open for Partner Countries Neighbouring the European Union. Partner Countries in the Western Balkan region include Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo* and Montenegro. The Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme is the key instrument in the field of youth in facilitating the integration of these countries in the European Union.

The publication Erasmus+: Youth in Action -Opportunities for the Western Balkan region, published for the first time in 2016, contains an overview of what the Erasmus+ Programme in the field of youth is, and what it offers for organisations based in the Western Balkan Partner Countries. Since there have been significant changes in the Programme last year, the SALTO SEE Resource Centre is in the process of revising the publication accordingly. In the meantime, the updated Programme overview is available here.

Note: the call for proposals for the Capacity-building in the field of youth closed in 24 January. However, the recorded info session and presentation about the call provide useful information about possibilities for organisations from the Western Balkan Partner Countries to apply funds within the Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme.
